Student Nutrition

View meal prices and add funds to your child’s account before the first day! Visit our Student Nutrition website for meal prices.

SchoolCafe provides parents with a secure way to make online meal payments, view balances, review purchase history, and set low-balance notifications.

Free & Reduced Meal applications are also available through SchoolCafe. Families are encouraged to complete the application before school starts.

Contact Azle ISD Student Nutrition at 817-444-5115 with any questions.

Transportation

If your child will be riding the bus to or from school this year, make sure you have registered for transportation.

Download the Traversa My Ride K-12 app to review bus route information. Check the app regularly for changes to student bus routes and turn on notifications for important updates throughout the school year.

Visit the Azle ISD Transportation Website for more information, including the bus rider handbook and more.

Contact the transportation department at 817-444-1322 with any questions.

YMCA After-School Care

The YMCA provides after-school care on all PK-4 elementary campuses on days when students are in school. Additional information can be found on the district website.

YMCA After-school Programs provide a fun, safe place for kids to learn, grow, and thrive through a range of academic enrichment activities; healthy snacks, arts & crafts, and much more! View details or sign up online.

School Zones

School zones will be active again soon! Help us keep our Hornets safe. Remember to watch for students walking and obey traffic laws when school buses are stopping to load and unload children.

Please be patient as drop-off and pick-up lines are usually longer than normal during the first few days of school.

New Texas Law Prohibits Student Use of Personal Devices

Azle ISD Student Personal Electronic Communication Device Policy

House Bill 1481 was passed during the 89th Texas Legislative Session and signed into law by Governor Abbott as part of a statewide initiative to promote focused learning environments, reduce distractions in classrooms, and limit cyberbullying and social media misuse during school hours. The law takes effect for the 2025-2026 school year and requires public school districts across the state to prohibit students from using personal electronic communication devices that can send or receive data on school property during the school day, including during passing periods and at lunch.

All student electronic communication devices must be powered off and securely stored in student backpacks during the entire instructional day. For more details, review the Azle ISD Student Personal Electronic Communication Device Policy on the district website.

Introducing "Rooms" in the Azle ISD App!

This year, we’re adding a new feature called Rooms to the Azle ISD app! This tool moves all two-way parent-teacher conversations and internal departmental conversations into one place. It also enables teachers to share classroom announcements and updates in a way that’s much simpler for everyone to keep up with.

Since Rooms will exist within our district app, it allows us to maintain a cohesive online presence and reinforce our district brand.
Learn more about Rooms. Here are just a few Rooms features we think you’re going to love:

  • Two-way messaging with parents, guardians, students, and staff in a monitored, secure space

  • Teachers can share classroom announcements, activities, and send reminders about coursework to families

  • Teachers can upload and store their classroom materials

  • Automatic translation
